Rough Diaper Rash Looking For Recommendations

My daughter had a bad diaper rash and I was advised to use a yeast cream for about three days to see if that helps as a last resort. And I have no clue what that even is or what are some good brands to use, this is my first baby. Please drop recommendations or advice!

Girl HONEST brand!! It was the only thing that helped my baby when he had a horrible rash! His rash was sooo bad nothing would stick on his butt

my baby had a terrible diaper rash for about a month that was caused by drinking soy milk. before we figured that the doctor prescribed an antibiotic ointment, zeasorb anti-fungal powder, and boudreaux’s butt paste. all three of them at the same time!

My daughter is recovering from a really nasty diaper rash right now. Our pediatrician prescribed nystatin (an antifungal), a steroid cream, and recommended layering a regular diaper cream and either maalax or mylanta (an antacid) on top. It made a HUGE difference in just one night. I definitely wouldn't use a steroid without the okay from a doctor, and i think nystatin is prescription only. But the antacid is otc, and helps neutralize acidity in urine or feces.

I used lotrimin, maximum strength desitin and cornstarch…those were the only things that helped

Aquphor Helps us. Also breast milk if your breastfeeding

Baking soda in their bath water, air it out, and nystatin antibiotic cream!
