Honestly mines the same, but all depends what sort of mood he is in I can distract him with toys/ his trousers over his face and he pulls them off playing peekaboo 😂 singing or if it's bad then I give him my phone or tv remote to hold and last resort is screen time xxx
I had this issue with my eldest, it took (& still does sometimes) painfully long to get her dressed. I have found making it fun really helps. Unfortunately, there's no quick fix but stressing out over it really doesn't help. It just becomes a power struggle (the older they get) so motivating them to get dressed (in any way that you can - which I appreciate isn't always easy when you're in a rush to get out of the door) is the best way forward.
We have to do it stood up and usually with me chasing him round the front room 🤦🏽♀️
Same here! Stood up or chasing around him rolling around the floor haha
Stressful ! I have to call her name firmly to get her to sit still or give her an item to play with ❤️
Glad I’m not the only one struggling! It’s a nightmare!!! If it’s a really bad nappy I do show her a Disney song on my phone, I think it’s only like 4 minutes of screen time a day and it does work. Other than that it’s me desperately distracting with funny faces, voices and sometimes I hide a toy up her jumper which takes her a few seconds to find and she finds it quite funny.
Pull pant nappies if no 2. Miss Rachel 😂
Tbh I just get on with it as quickly as I can. I know it's horrible. I try signing or making a game out of it like peekaboo or something but other than that I haven't bothered trying much else
