Does anyone read any Harry Potter fanfic?

Depends if you are looking for dark/light. On the Nature of Daylight and the sequel This Bitter Earth are my favourite ever fics but quite dark. Not as dark as Manacled but Draco is pretty toxic/jealous/possessive/unhinged in these ones. Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Idea of Being in Love is hilarious and beautifully written. I just finished Remain Nameless last week too and thatās up there with my faves!
@Hannah yes, it was my first. Read it in January this year. I've been on a dramione trip all the way through my pregnancy and after!
I went through a HUGE Draco phase and have a fare few favourites! āPossessiveā was a rollercoaster of a read but it was great, especially with a new, fan based character involved (Mattheo Riddle), I couldnāt put it down :) theres also āthe world and her starsā, āFilthyā and āObliviateā is quick and emotional. I also read a Fred Weasley one called āGolden Boyā theyāre all amazing, and Iām personally really picky when it comes to fanfics I read haha! Iām currently trying to get into Dramione x
Iām pretty sure āthe World and her starsā was published as paperback like manacled? Donāt take my word for it though haha but it is that good! X
@Nichola I've read DMATMOOBIL and remain nameless is my comfort read. I read that alot during my 1st and wnd trimester. Read manacled, but not the others yet.
Sorry but are they not children?
@Charlotte some stories take place when they are 16/17 and some take place later. Remain Nameless for example takes place when they are in their late 20s

@Kate I never DNF books but Iām struggling so much with Detraquee ā¹ļø Iām on chapter 33. Should I just give up and say itās not my cup of tea? I really wanted to love it.
@Kate not read that one yet. I'm in a bit of a lull right now.
@NicholaYeah I would say that if you arenāt getting on with it, just stop. The podfic is really good and helped me break the back of it. But I can totally see that itās not for everyone. What are you struggling with?

@Kate I know people say not to read it if all you want is dramione and itās about hermioneās journey in herself but it just feels so slow paced to me šI feel like all she does is internally moan about Harry and Ron and runs off to Theo. I wasnāt keen on The Fallout either so I think maybe my issue is I need Draco POV chapters š¤
