We go to a Christmas light trail with each of our families, have Christmas Eve boxes including something we can do/make together on Christmas Eve (last year we baked cookies for us and one for Santa) we do matching pyjamas (but we wear them throughout December, but they are given on the day we decorate our house for Christmas), every year we make a new decoration for our Christmas tree. Nothing crazy, which means we can stick to it year after year and always add more later.
We are letting little one pick an ornament for the tree every year - he’s only 10 months but we were in a shop recently and he was sat CACKLING trying to grab this bloody bright pink balloon dog tree decoration…. So yeah that’s his this year 😂❤️
@Bethany we’re doing this too! I’m hoping for a traditional looking tree but some baubles he chooses are questionable😂
We do a December box for my eldest which she gets on the 1st. I fill it with activity books, treats, pjs etc and she just helps herself when she’s looking for something to do in the run up to Xmas. I’ve added things like a Xmas touchy feel book, Xmas puppets etc for my 10 month old this year too xx
I’ll be doing some Xmas baking. My LO is only 10 months so atm I’m trying to get better in that deportment
