I dont think the people who are against it should be in this group. Its supposed to be a safe place for those that relate not a place to attack people

You’re entitled to your own opinion about it just like anyone else in this group🤷🏻‍♀️ I personally think differently than you about smoking while pregnant/breastfeeding, and that’s okay:)

If you’re going to shame women - go be in the right group! I’m sure there’s a “Moms against Weed” group 🤣 We’re here to answer questions and help moms get the pain relief (or whatever other reason!) to help them! Hell, pre-pregnancy I had so many health complications, no medications worked. Medical saved my daughter’s life and allowed us to thrive as a pair. I’d start a war over this 🤣

I don’t think marijuana mamas is the same as pregnant marijuana mamas. I’m always going to suggest an alternative to smoking anything while pregnant. But I also don’t care to address people who want to do that. If you ask, I’ll say how I feel tho

My thoughts exactly! If you're pro cannabis you should know it's not bad. Makes 0 sense why people are judging in this group, it should be the last group that has judgement in it. I considered deleting the app this morning because of this and other reasons. What is the point of an app that's supposed to have other moms that are there for you if the first thing we're gonna do is bring them down for their choices. Everyone does their own research and does what is best for themselves and family. Everyone and every family is different.

well this is a marijuana mamas group, right? not necessarily just a marijuana mamas-to be group. a lot of posts are soliciting others opinions. i don’t understand why you would solicit opinions then expect an echo chamber. if yall wanna an echo chamber of support for smoking weed while pregnant maybe make a marijuana mamas to be group 😂

@Sarah🦄 yeah I’ve experienced this before. I think the app developers need to change that because it kinda makes it awkward for the people in this group

Peanut shows these groups to everyone and the posts in them. I haven't joined any groups and I still see all kind of stuff like that and yeah when I feel like I will express how irresponsible I think it is to smoke while pregnant or breastfeeding. Talk to peanut and how they advertise groups

@Samantha same. I don’t want to see the posts but they come up on my feed, even clicking ‘see less’ doesn’t seem to do much.

Because while people could scroll past, most folks like drama abd like putting their opinion wherever they well please to put it because "freedom of speech".

i will never be able to control what others do but personally i do not smoke but i use cannabis by grinding the flower up and vaping it in a dry herb vaporizer, PAX is the brand

@Chí groups can be set to private, so maybe this one needs to be set that way?🤷🏼‍♀️ Who are the group admins? They could change the settings. I'm not even sure why I see these posts in my feed as, I've never smoked marijuana in my life😅

I’m not apart of the group, it comes up on my feed. I am against it tho because there isn’t evidence that shows it DOESNT affect the child. Historically indigenous groups didn’t smoke it while expecting, there is data that it does go into your breastmilk (like alcohol), and personally I guess many of my friends who are huge smokers and have their own smoke businesses are moms and feel that it’s wrong to do so.
