I know exactly how you feel. I miscarried a few days past 6 weeks prior to my first baby. When I was pregnant with my daughter I was holding my breath the entire time. Good news - she’s earth side now and wonderful. I also found out through that that multiple friends of mine also miscarried prior to their first babies. I don’t know if the fear goes away, but it’s definitely worth the stress. You got this 💜
Before having our LB in had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks and these tests stayed at 1-2 too!! With my LB and this pregnancy i went to 3+ around 5/6 weeks so I take it as a good sign. It is so nerve wracking, even more so after a loss but try enjoy it!! Praying for sticky babies 💓💙
@Lauren aww no I appreciate your comment, we are definitely looking to do a private scan more towards 8 weeks & after the first midwife appointment so I can express my concerns to them, just so I can be sure I’ll see a heartbeat if everything is going as it should, thank you🥰

I know your pain. I got pregnant 3 years ago and had a miscarriage. Had a bit of a break. Took me a year to get pregnant again 🥹 I'm 7 weeks today (further along than last time) but just can't feel excited yet and get nervous over every little twinge. But you can get an early scan if you've had a miscarriage (7-8 weeks) mines next week. Maybe then I may feel excited 🤦🏼♀️ one day at a time .... X
Glad to give you some hope!! I'm also 6+2 same as you and having the same worries due to past experience!! But trying to be positive and booked an early scan for peace of mind 😍
Hi I think we’re in the same boat. I miscarried Oct 22nd, and it’s Nov 27th when I tested positive again. I think I could be about 3-4 maybe 5 weeks I’ve no idea. But the line on mine is coming up strong. I’m just praying this one sticks as this would be my second time pregnant. I miscarried at 8wks last month so I’m just happy to be pregnant again I just am trying to act normal as I feel stressed thinking about it x
@Rebecca I’ve no idea how many weeks I am as I miscarried Oct 22nd I last tested negative Nov 14th but might’ve been too early to test and on Nov 27th I tested a strong positive. I’m just wondering how far in advance you booked your scans as whenever I’m doing ones in my area they all seem so far away. Do you think I should book now as I think I’m about 4-5weeks or do I wait until longer. X
@Rebecca aw I’m sorry to hear that! It’s horrible isn’t it 😔 congratulations though! I know it’s hard but we have to try & stay calm!🥰 Sending you lots of positivity for this baby!🙏🏼 I know, I heard that but I haven’t even heard from my midwife yet & I’m nearly 7 weeks & I’ve heard they can be funny & not give you one unless you have symptoms of a miscarriage but I don’t think I can wait till 12 weeks to know! Hoping to speak to a midwife this week at some point🤞🏼 X

@Amy ahh yes! We may well be able pretty much in the exact same boat! It’s scary isn’t it but so amazing to get pregnant again so soon! Yeah I’m the same, I’m being careful but trying to forget about it almost to help time pass! The days are sooo long!😔 x

@Amy as strange as it sounds, the gyno told me a miscarriage is classed as your last period so you’ll be dated from then but it’s a time of uncertainty as our ovulation maybe a little sooner or later after the miscarriage so it’s hard to know for sure! I haven’t looked at scans yet as I’m scared to go too soon incase they don’t see anything & I will worry more so I’d suggest 8 weeks at least but that’s just personal for me!☺️ Wishing you all the best with this baba❤️
@Amy Hi Amy, it depends on the clinic I guess. I wouldn't get a scan earlier than 7 weeks coz they might not detect the heart beat. 7-8 weeks is good xx
Yeah I still haven't heard anything from the self referral form. I did that 2.5 weeks ago. But I got sick of waiting so called the early pregnancy unit. They ask a bunch of questions and then decide whether to book you in xx
I haven't experienced this myself so I won't be any help in that respect but just wondering if there's anywhere around that you could maybe go and get a private scan done for piece of mind? 🙂
