4 MO Starting Baby Food

I started my 4 month old on baby food about 2 weeks ago. She is loving it! However, 2 days ago she started having bowel movements every diaper change! It got so bad that she developed a rash! I only give her baby food once a day right now since she just started it.. has anyone else had this experience when they started their baby on baby food? I don’t remember my son going through this!
