Yes I had a few newborn size but she was 8lb and only got 1 wear out of them as bit tight on the legs. So we are straight onto upto a month.
My first born was measuring on the 90th percentile throughout my whole pregnancy so we didn’t bother buying newborn clothes and went straight for 0-3. He was born at 38+6 at 8lb 5oz but all his 0-3 clothes swamped him. I had to send my mum out to go and buy newborn clothes!! X
My little girl was predicted to be 7lbs from her scans and was born at 6lbs 4oz and honestly newborn is too big for her, they stoll fit just a bit baggy on her I wouldn't worry as long as they are warm in their clothes
@Olivia oh dear the newborn clothes were too small and she was only 6lbs 4oz! Im going to have to wash some bigger clothes xx
@Steph yess her feet barely reach the foot bit on her sleepsuits and most of her vests are just too long and baggy ^^"

I haven't bothered with newborn sizes, as babies grow so quickly. Also, sizing is so variable between brands.
My little girl was born yesterday and was 6lbs8oz… we were expecting closer to if not exceeding 9lbs haha. We are going to have to get smaller clothes. The growth scans and charts are notoriously inaccurate, as long as you have a few to last you a few days you will be fine. X
