Well little princess might not be so little

I had a consultant appt today ans I'm 33 weeks Friday and he is measuring just above the 90th centile but she said as I'm having a c section she's not so concerned.

Wow she going to be chunky so cute, my 1st was born over 10lbs haha

@Natalie I don’t feel big though, with my first I was huge and he was 8.14 but he was sooo long at 56cm. We will see what the scan says, I’m Having a section as well x

@Charlotte yeah its strange I didn't feel huge with my 1st either and she was big and then ny 2nd I felt normal but I had growth scans he was born nearly 9lbs but this time around I feel huggeeee looks like I'll only find out at birth what he is weighing haha

Tbh he might just be tall and we both tall

I had the same with my boy. Had a growth scan yesterday, he’s actually bang on average size. These measurements are known for being inaccurate.

I have a growth scan tomorrow too, I had my first growth scan a few weeks back and baby was measuring on 97th centile

Turns out she’s is fine! But her stomach is big so have to go for another GD test

Oh no I went for a growth scan this morning as the midwife said I’d jumped from 10 to 60 in 3 weeks turns out she’s 19 percentile estimated current weight (which I know can be quite wrong from previous) is 3lb7. I was clearly just having a bloated day yesterday 😂 Hopefully it comes back you don’t have GD.

@Siobhan I’m pretty annoyed with them to be honest. I was crying my eyes out on my own with what they said to me. Basically went for a growth scan, woman told me in there that ‘yes indeed we are looking at a big baby, have you lost any waters? And everything is fine she is perfectly healthy, but wait in the waiting room and I’ll come and tell you the measurements’ So I sat there amongst other people and she came out to me all she said was ‘Baby is measuring normal , but her thigh bone is short, you need to go to the clinic and speak to them about it’ I then googled as I was waiting seeing all these things such as chromosome disorders etc… Consultant called me in and just said ‘so what did the scan lady say to you’ So I told her and she replied ‘She didn’t say she’s got short legs, why did she ask if you lost waters’ (I mean I don’t know why she asked all that, I wasn’t the one asking questions) Then I was told she is head down; turns out she’s feet first!

Oh goodness! Talk about scaring you! So have they said why baby’s thigh bone is shorter? Such mixed signals 😣

@Siobhan They then said it’s on the 10 percentile so they arnt worried. 😫😫 but then said her stomach was big and to go back tomorrow for another GD test , really mixed signals.
