Pippa is more unusual than Poppy, but it's not super unusual! it may be "unusual" in that it's not a name that is used so much right now, but it's still a name everyone knows! Pippa is one of my favourite names - i would definitely go with Pippa! 💕

Thanks everyone! I think the main thing that’s putting me off Pippa is it’s meaning in other languages, if you search for it online everyone seems to hate it!

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve thought the same it doesn’t directly translate through spelling just how it’s said/ pronounced but even if you compare how it’s said in different languages it still sounds different in english compared to Italian accent….

Yeah I found out about the language thing before I used it! I decided to ignore and 11 months in I haven’t had any negative comments at all! 🤣 even a coupe of Italian friends haven’t mentioned it. My twin boy is called Rafe and that name gets more comments as people don’t get it and I have to spell it out 🤣 I think he is destined for a life of explaining his name!🤣🙈

Piper feels like an in between
