How do I approach this?

So I've been noticing a need for affordable childcare especially for single parents. I've been a single parent for most of my children's childhood so I understand the struggle. I was lucky enough to have a close extended family that jumped in to help whenever possible. I absolutely love kids and would love to help out some single parents in my area with childcare. My question is how do I advertise without looking like a creep. I obviously want to only charge what someone can afford to pay or would even take things like a homemade loaf of bread etc. Ive offered this to friends in the past and its been fun and helpful for them. I don't have any childcare qualifications other than babysitting. But I do have a CNA license and prenursing. I have a sweet sleep overnight position currently, and the semester off so I basically have a lot of free time to do this. Anyone have ideas on how I could offer this service respectful?

Aside from the apps, have you tried sending out some resumes to sitter services in your area? They can connect you with families who are looking for childcare. We used one to find our Nanny and she’s amazing. Good luck!

Could reach out to local mom groups and ask them to advertise?

It may be a good idea to advertise in local Facebook mom groups and there's also an app called Nextdoor where you could advertise in your area as a sort of business!
