Family issue
Hi all, my Mother in law said a comment about me that offended me quite a while back and me & my bf recently just had a baby together… she sees the baby etc but I find it hard to be myself around her as I think she’s judges me, I don’t want to hold a grudge but I’m still annoyed by it and feel so awkward all the time, she also says she wants to see baby more which she can, but I feel she may be accusing me of keeping him from her? Sorry long rant there, does anyone have any advice or think I’m being silly 🤦🏽♀️

I stopped caring what she thought. Its my life and if I dont want to spend a lot of time with a women who constantly makes negative bitchy comments and believes shes a victim in all avenues of her life.. then I wont! Ofc she can see my daughter but when I say its okay and when it suits me not her
Personally, I learned that they will say that anyway. I was so worried about family saying I’m keeping my child from them. They’re free to visit him and the first year I made an effort and went out of my way to visit often. In the end they still blamed me for not seeing him often enough but they also never tried to visit him.
