Should I make the change for my child? HELP

My child is currently in year 3 and we have moved to a new property. His current school is a 10 minute drive. I don’t know if i should switch schools to a closer one (approximately 4mins drive) or keep my child in the same one they currently attend.

10 mins is nothing. If he's doing well at that school, stay there

Yesh 10 min is nothing keep at the same school unless there’s problems

Ten minutes is basically my walk to school at the bottom of the road. I imagine he has made close friends by now.

If your still within the district requirements for the original school & he has zero issue being there presently, a 6 minute difference would only be convenient for yourself id say.

10 minutes is nothing, why would that even be a consideration lol?

I'd definitely keep him at his current school. 6 minutes imo is barely anything. If he's happy and you're happy with the current school I wouldn't move him.

10 minutes isn't bad at all. Moving and having to adjust for your child can be overwhelming or sad for them. I myself for my elementary school years move around over 7 times and it was disappointing. Never end up having a settle group of friends etc

My brother and I moved schools a lot and it did us well. We asked to be moved around, I would ask him if I were you.

If you have to drive regardless why would you cause such a change for your child? Different if you could walk

The question is what is making you considering switching the school beside the 6 min difference?

If you’re happy with the school then why risk the switch for a difference of 6 minutes?

I would keep it. My daughters school is 15 mins away. 20 with traffic. Its honestly not too bad
