Do you have to get the green light from your doctor before having sex again. Or is it good to go again at 6 weeks?

As far as I know is you wait either 6-8 weeks if you feel ok then you can go back to normal activities but then with mine at 8 weeks the Dr only checked my baby and not me 🤷🏾‍♀️; 6 weeks I was only checked for weight; height; BP then that’s it ; they don’t necessarily give you the green light 🚥; it’s you and how you feeling etc…. and for intercourse if you had CS then they advise to use protection as thy don’t want you to be falling preggo when the inside has not healed properly.
