Antibiotics

What are your thoughts about giving antibiotics to your child ? I know if GP is suggesting then it’s for good . But do you normally give or skip?

I try to skip where I can x

My 5 month old is on them every single night, whenever my 3 year old has them we just give them to him with his probiotics x

GPs don't often give antibiotics out just for anything, so if they're saying they're needed, then they must be!

If they prescribe them then we take, not sure why you’d be taking them to the GP if you’re not listening to thier advice

Always give antibiotics if recommended by GP. They are doctors not us... Also we always use probiotics with them. If it happens that our little one needs antibiotics more often (what is unfortunately a case in late winter/spring season) - we ask doctor to alternate between different types of antibiotics if possible. So she doesn't build a resistance against any.
