Pregnant bread winner

I’m so fed up being the bread winner. How does a man watch his gf struggle working a full time job pregnant and feels ok working part time and barely pays shit. I’m due in February so when I stop working then what. I’m so scared for him to mess this up for me and my baby. All I ask is for him to provide when I can’t and I’ve grown to be independent so it kills me to depend on somebody else.

This kind of thing pisses me off... So sorry that your going through this Sis. Please stay strong. You are doing this for you and your little one. I used to be with someone very similiar. I used to work really hard, in the end he quit his job and was unemployed for over a year. Out right refused to look for work...I was paying for everything. He seemed to think that it was his right. In the end i had to get rid.

If you’re due in Feb, you still have a bit of time left to kick out this bum of a man and get rid of the extra “child” you will have to look after. If you don’t, you are literally going to ruin your experience of motherhood. That newborn period when you’re in a bubble of bliss? You’ll be left stressing how the bills are going to be paid and if you’ll have to go back to work sooner rather than later. Like you said, he’s watching you struggle working full-time. This is a joke of a man who will only bring you down. A decent man would be busting his qss to do ANY job to bring in more money. Even tell you to quit yours or go part-time as he’s got this. Instead, you are being forced to be in your masculine era. Time to make a plan today and figure out a way forward without this weight dragging you down.

If u are doing it alone already, what u scare of you probably gonna have to put your child in daycare and be a working mom might as well separate and get child support instead of dragging on that extra weight.

If he is not the breadwinner, would he be okay doing all the housework? My husband has a job where he can have a lot of down time and because of that he does like 85% the cleaning, grocery shopping, sending out bills, take the pets to vet/groomer etc. It’s 2024 so I don’t think there is a problem with a girl making more money than her man, but he has to pick up slack in other areas. If the answer is he does none of this then throw the whole man away 😂😂
