Drink it as fast as you can to get it out of the way. Fast for as long as they say and don’t be tempted. If you throw up in the first hr you’ll have to repeat it. Have something to eat right after. You can do this. It’s a pretty shit thing to have to do on top of everything else. But the peace of mind is better.
You don’t need to fast. Just try to limit sugar and breads for the day before. Have a high protein breakfast. I had an English muffin and eggs the morning of mine and I passed easily.
Eat regular the day before. Dont eat anything before your appointment. It's terribly sweet so drink it fast. Sit and try to relax during your hour wait. Enjoy food afterwards.
Have mine at 28 weeks on Jan 2nd.. Eat high protein/low carb the morning before test (my OB said I don't have to fast). I'd stay away from sugar in general for like the 24 hours before the test (fruit, juice, etc.)
