Canary Islands

Can anyone recommend a luxury resort (all inclusive) that is toddler friendly? Looking to go there around March. We have never been there so looking for help. Thanks in advance xx

We’re currently in Tenerife staying at the Bahia Principe Fantasia and it is sooo good for babies, toddlers and children etc. The pools are great, they have “baby stations” on each floor with microwaves and sterilisers etc. The only thing is it’s outside of the big main resorts so there’s a few shops and restaurants nearby but not many and no sandy beach. Honestly couldn’t fault it for being child friendly! Xx

Hi Nina, thanks for your response - how is the food for toddlers and are the pools heated?

Hi! My baby is only 4.5 months so not eating yet but there’s so much food to choose from - they have a “kids buffet” section and in the snack bar round the pool they actually have a baby menu which has pureed food if you want it. The pools are heated but would probably recommend a fleece lined swimsuit for little ones as it can be cold getting out. Most people here are families with young children x

In Gran Canaria, Gloria Palace. I am from the Canaries, my cousin took his son last year in the summer and he loved it.

Hotel riu was great for us. We went at the beginning of April. They put us in a downstairs room (requested) which was next to the toddler pool, we could also use the other pools. Food was great and so many options. Buffet style but constantly fresh. Meant I could pick and choose lots of options for my baby who was 1 at the time. You could walk out of the back straight onto the seafront with lots of shops and restaurants which was nice to walk with our pram.
