Tips?

My LO (17MO) is sooo bad at eating for us at home. Apparently eats well at nursery but when it comes to dinner time at the weekend or lunch- he refuses everything. Any tips on getting this to be improved? I’ve tried different foods, different location, smaller, bigger portions. I think it helps him at nursery because he sees everyone else eat. At home this doesn’t work 😩 I have been more relaxed about it at weekends and giving him the stuff he wants (chips, cheese) because I know they are so good at nursery with a varied and balanced diet. But obviously Xmas coming up and the kid will be at home for 2 weeks. So I’m stressing big time! Help pleaseeee

My girl apparently eats everything at nursery but sometimes refuses everything at home. It does give me great stress and anxiety but i try giving her the foods she takes mostly which is any pasta dish and fruits she accepts. Most of the time breakfast is coconut milk (shes got severe cmp allergy) and rice crispies or weetabix. Banana pancakes or sausages and beans or french toast. Then lunch and dinner is literally me fighting for my life trying to make up dishes that she refuses 😂 she likes tuna mayo pasta, or home made fish fingers. Chicken and beans and peppers with couscous. So random. Good luck 💕(the saucier the food is the better she takes it i think)

Thanks! Yeah I have such anxiety over him not eating. The advice I keep getting is that he’ll eat if he’s hungry. He won’t. He will just scream 😩

Are you giving him a lot of milk? Because sometimes they get fed from milk and don’t want the food

No. I’m only giving the milk when he’s not had any food
