Favorite book?

Hi new friends and welcome to our community! Reading is so important in language development, what is your child’s or your favorite book to read together? We are loving Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown, it’s the same illustration style as If You Give A Mouse A Cookie 🍪 which is why I love it, but there are lots of animal to point out and it’s a short, fun, easy read!

My little one currently loves Go Dog Go by P.D. Eastman! It has a lot of relational illustrations (the blue dog is on the red tree, the red dog is on the blue tree, over/under/in/out etc.) It's super old like from 1961 but he loves it!!

@Samantha I love that!

My son loves everything by Eric Carle He is really into Peek A Boo and Touch n Feel books too!

@Christina🤱🏼🍂☕️♈️ oh my son LOVES Eric Carle as well!

@Samantha I’m obsessed too. Can’t deny it. He was the very hungry caterpillar for his first Halloween. We all coordinated to foods in the book. My husband was a salami, I was the butterfly, my mom was the sun, my nieces were an orange and strawberry, my sister was the cupcake and her husband was the pickle. It was so much fun!

@Christina🤱🏼🍂☕️♈️ so cute!! My little guy was also The Very Hungry Caterpillar for his first Halloween but he was only a week old so we didn't bring him trick-or-treating haha

@Samantha that’s adorable! My little guy was 8 months old so we walked around my sister’s neighborhood. We were a huge hit!
