Check out solid starts. They have a free app and an awesome website. They have recommendations for how to cut food for each age and videos of babies eating the food to help build your confidence!

2nd vote for solid starts. They also have a 100 first days meal plan that you can purchase, I thought I would follow it exactly I was so nervous about solids and allergens etc. but after a couple weeks it made me feel comfortable enough that we’ve stopped using it and I just feed her what we are eating (only healthier lol). I’d start with a banana or avocado, something they can mash with their gums but can also hold onto

@Brooke yes he does do strips of banana but we just tried black beans mushed up just to see if he will do the chewing motions which he did but i will look into the app/website

Pasta is a good starter food. We cooked rotini so she could feed herself. She liked it with a little red sauce but beware it's very messy!

My daughter is 10m and eats everything solid make sure they are bite size for them start off with noodles cut up try cooked green beans French fry’s anything in that area to start off with message me if you have questions!!!

Give that baby some food!

I started with mango chunks around the 5 month mark and small bits of beans boiled pasta, cheese , chicken beef and eggs! So underrated !! You can dress up eggs in so many ways and so easy for little ones to chew
