Would you get all the teachers at a preschool Christmas gifts or just direct teachers?

Don't want to be rude but it would 5 people vs 2 and that adds up 😬

No. Just their teachers

I usually do a gift card for my son’s actual teachers and then a handwritten note and some treats (candy or baked goods) for any assistants or any other teachers that interact with my son more regularly (but aren’t his actual teachers).

Do you mean aids in her specific class? Or just other teacher in the school in general? My son is in a special needs class and their is 1 teacher but 4 aids in his class so i got everyone a gift card for Christmas😩 it is pricey but they all help out in different ways so I have to.

For my daughter’s teachers I get her key person a present and then make everyone else brownies. ( I work at the nursery)

@Michelle they have her class split into two groups at one period during the day. I would probably do what you did though if there were aids 🫠

@Pippa aaw that's cute! I guess I could try to bake something

I’m just getting it for my daughters direct teacher

Sorry to jump in here, but does this apply to nursery teachers as well?

I bought all my son's teacher's at school Christmas gifts

Your kid has 5 teachers? Or all the teachers make up 5? I would do a collection with the other parents. Less work.

@Brittany I feel bad because I talk to one of the other teachers a lot, thinking of just getting the others a gift card instead

@Iva I think so! Do they have direct teachers like different classes?

@Jenn what kind of gifts? 😬

@𝔾𝕚𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕖 I think I'll probably do it this way

@Melanie I bought each teacher something different I bought my son's main teacher a Starbucks tumbler with a gift card

@Monét in total the preschool has 5 teachers but my daughter has 2 teachers in her class. But they're only in their classes for like 4 hours and then they merge Tbh the parents there are lame lol they just do pickups and drop offs

what I do is bring donuts or breakfast, etc., for all the teachers and then get a gift card or something, etc., for his main teachers

@Annie also a good idea!!

I put all the teachers because I thought you meant assistants too like in her class. But if you mean in other classes/rooms then no I’d just do the direct teachers she sees everyday.

@Sarah sorry, hard to explain but it's a different class/group, it's all in one facility and they even interact with all of them. A little less if they're in a different group but still at some part of the day

Just his main morning teachers ... if I included all the floaters and afternoon teachers it would be at least 9 gifts which is more than my own son is getting from us 😭 we simply don't have the budget even though we truly love all of the teachers who care for him.

I have twins in daycare, so I’m getting gifts for the full-time ECEs in each of their rooms, as well as the manager, and one part-time staff who the boys are close with. 8 people total 🙃

Meant to click direct one but then I got to thinking really none. I know some people are that nice but I personally don’t know if I’d want to spend my money on someone I barely know Edit to add: I totally sound like a raging cunt lol not trying to just how I personally feel

I just do his teachers and assistants in his class. I do feel bad leaving out the substitutes or teachers at other classes that I've talked to, but it would add up a lot and also I don't know all their names 😭

In my son’s preschool he actually got along with the teaching assistant waaaay better than the teacher so I did something for his teacher and the assistant but that was it. I think I just did a card too, no gift

@Melanie Only a key person, otherwise no classes yet, he is under 2. I already sent Christmas cards and I am thinking of getting some chocolates for the key person to share with colleagues and that will be it this year at least. I hope I don't look stingy.

I’ve just bought a box of chocolates for them all to share I’m not buying like 9 nursery teachers gifts I’m not made of money 🤣🤣🤣x
