I gave a card and box os sweets to the key worker and room teachers.
We decided to give something for the nursery staff as they are all so good with my daughter and she settled so well this year not sure if it’s a must but we want to
@Freya That sounds reasonable to me - a box of chocolate and a card. Great idea! Honestly with the amount of nursery fees I pay each month I don't want to sound stingy, but I think it should be enough. 😅

@Diane I completely understand the need to give a gift - it's a beautiful gesture for sure. Thanks for sharing! I wouldn't think twice if it wasn't for the pricey nursery fee we pay each month. I would go for chocolates and cards this year at least.
As a teacher, it is a lovely thoughtful thing to do but it definitely isn't expected x
My 1 year old isn’t in nursery yet but my 3 year old is. He gave gifts to his key worker and 2 other favourite teachers, just a box of chocolates each and then he made them all a card
