Bless you, it can get confusing, this is the general advice, NHS and elsewhere. Do different veggies each day, to get babies gut used to different tastes. You can always repeat after a few days. Start with green vegetables first as they have a bitter taste which is what you want baby to get used to first, broccoli is great to start with. But then try courgettes, peas, avocado. You don't need to blend it with breadt milk all the time (I know expressing isn't always easy) you can mix it with full-fat milk or just water. Do fruits after a few vegs, you don't want the sweet taste buds waking too soon After you are sure your LO can tolerate the new tastes you can move to giving combined vegs like cauliflower with peas. That can happen quite quickly. In about 2-3 weeks of the above you can give baby what you're eating mashed up just without salt. Your LO doesn't need to be able to sit unaided to have finger foods. As long as they can sit aided and stay upright in the high chair they're OK. Hope that helps.

The dietitian said there is no need to give one food for 3 days. 1st no one likes to eat the same thing for 3 days, 2nd it will take ages for your child to try all tastes. So she said to do 1 new taste a day, so until year of 1 you tried as many as possible 🙂

We just completely winging it depending what we have in and what he will have x
