Endo removal.

I had my endometriosis laparoscopy yesterday, feeling super wounded. Really struggling with the trapped wind in my shoulders/back! šŸ˜« any tips?

I didnā€™t find any way of improving that but fortunately it really doesnā€™t last long so just know that it will go away soon. First period after the laparoscopy is really tough so prepare for that but in the future youā€™ll feel so much better. I havenā€™t had a bad flare up since my surgery in 2021.

Just commenting so I can see what others say as Iā€™m waiting for this surgery currently

@Josceline Im really hoping the pain goes soon! Im finding the pain in my back and shoulders worse than the pain on my wounds šŸ˜« I heard peppermint tea was meant to be good for it but it hasnā€™t helped me at all. Ahhh no one had warned me about the first period so thank you for the heads up! Itā€™s also really nice to hear youā€™ve not had a flare up again since! This is exactly what Iā€™m hoping for! šŸ¤žšŸ¼ xx

How are you and your little one doing during the recovery period? My son just turned 2 and I can get the call any time and Iā€™m very stressed about the recovery

@Elizabeth So far itā€™s not been too bad I would say the only dilemma Iā€™m having is trying to get my little one to not climb on me šŸ«£ Iā€™ll drop you a private message x

Not a lot you can do for that unfortunately. Doctor prescribed me gas meds which seemed to help a little bit. Iā€™d ask!

Peppermint tea and peppermint capsules! Only thing that helped! The shoulder pain was worse than any surgery pain!

@Charlotte It really is so much worse than the actual surgery painšŸ˜« canā€™t wait for it to shift! Going to try peppermint capsules thank you xx

Can get them prescribed I think but a funny time of year.. itā€™ll pass in a day or two, but itā€™s horrible!
