Hi! I had GD! It’s not as scary as it sounds. I had it with my first and have it again with my second. They will have you take the three hour test and if you fail that will flag you as being high risk for GD. It just means they will monitor you and the baby more which means more/better scans and more testing to make sure everything is fine. Sometimes, they will even recommend having the baby early if they think it’s medically necessary. You can choose to bypass the second test and just be diagnosed with GD like I did with my second but I think that only happened because i have a history of GD. Message me anytime and I can answer any questions. Just watch what you eat and exercise and you should be okay. If not, you’ll get out on medication and everything will be fine
They should have you take the 3 hour. Yes, you can pass the 3 hour after failing the 1. You can also have GD after not having it last time. If you fail, you kind of want to fail because it will allow them to give you the right support to keep you and baby safe.
