Car seat advice

I have a My Babiie 360 spin car seat, my little boy is nearly 9 months old, is quite small in weight but has long legs, I have taken the newborn insert out, but I feel like his head isn't supported as the headrest that is with the newborn insert doesn't attach to anything in the seat and the 2nd headrest part has a gap between both sides of his head 🤔 first time mum, maybe I've missed something on the car seat? 🙈

Can you pop a picture on, both with and without the insert in. Also, if possible I would replace the car seat as it isn’t the best in terms of safety xx

@Kiera I will get a picture after of him in it, thank you Oh really? My husband bought it before we had our son as it's supposed to be good for RF until at least 4 years 🙈 we only have a small budget for another car seat but wouldn't even know where to look 🙈 xx

Personally I would keep it in, there is too much space around him without it That’s some of the issues with these seats, the inserts are all or none basically🫣 Something like the graco turn to me or graco slimfit/Joie stages are good options if it’s doable. Although if baby is high centiles (above 50) it won’t last until 4 anyway xx

Okay, yeah I did think that but I was worried thinking he'd be too squashed in it 🙈 I will keep it in and see how it goes would rather him safe or as safe as can be in that seat, oh really we never knew anything about seats we just thought it had all we needed and looked pretty good 🙈 ohh okay thank you! I will have a look and see if we can get some savings together for it! Thanks again for the advice ☺️! Xx
