Daycare/preschool/ 3k programs

Good morning Ladies ! I am in the beginning of my search for a daycare/preschool program for my 2 year old son. I want a daycare that keeps me updated, sends pictures and involved throughout the day. Looking for daycares in Brooklyn or Queens! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Is he going to be 3 in the fall? Do you have a budget? Many daycares that are affordable are not checking in and giving updates. A good 3K will though. My daughter went to Phyl’s Academy in Flatbush and we loved it. They have an app and always shared pictures. It’s a private school that offers NYC 3/4k.

I figured that was the case that’s why I’m okay with paying if it means my son is provided the quality education and care, and if they have that added measure of checking in to give me peace of mind! I truly appreciate your suggestion !❤️

@Briana of course! I think enrollment for nyc has closed, but they always allow waitlists and additional seats if people don’t accept. Create a my-schools account. I only looked at private tho lol I just refuse public school in Brooklyn. She goes to a charter school for K and I LOVE it. If you’re looking for a place to apply to next year, hmu! ☺️

If you're looking at 3K, it's free through the DOE via lottery. Applications open in Jan 2025. Our son's in a program in the city and they send photos once a day (surprised me).
