Tampons

Has anyone struggled with tampons since their section? I’m 8 weeks pp and I’ve gotten my first period and the tampon feels too long like it won’t go in any further yet isn’t inserted correctly so I can still feel it as if it’s sticking out. First time having s3x last week was also very painful despite using lots of lube. I didn’t know/ get told a section could effect you vaginally

I am still in pain almost 7 months postpartum . I did physical therapy too

I think with a c section they pull everything back up in thats why its uncomfortable to start with

10 months pp I'm the same. Not sure how long to leave it before asking medical staff

I had exactly the same with my first period. Couldn't use a tampon, then from the second it was completely normal.

I don't know that it's a c section as such or just being post partum in general. Your pelvic floor takes a battering from being pregnant and it takes a while for it all to tighten back up

I did! I didn’t use them for my first few periods. My periods came back after about 8-10 weeks but didn’t use tampons (after trying once and it being painful) until my daughter was around 6 months old. I also found sex painful the first few times, and still find that it feels different now!

It still hurts 3.5 years later they don’t know why( doctors)
