Vomiting at night

Hi. What would you do in this situation. So my 2 year old has been vomiting at night, not constant throw up like stomach bug just 1 throw up, and then she goes to sleep. It's been 2nd night in a row, but it did happen before a few times. Should I go to see a doctor? Or should I wait and see.

Could she be overeating or dinner time too close to bedtime? Not sure whether she has any other symptoms or not but if she’s happy and playing as normal then could be a sign of overeating maybe

something similar happened to us recently, however he was being sick when he woke up, so he’d wake up through the night throw up once, then be fine, wake up in the morning, throw up, then be fine, he did eventually develop diarrhoea too, it lasted maybe a week? (the throwing up not the diarrhoea) i didn’t take him to the doctors because i did just think it was a bug, the norovirus is going around though and usually the sickness happens at night so that could be a possibility - i’d just keep an eye out on any other symptoms x

So she isn't overeating as she don't really want to eat too much. She eats a lot of fruit and yoghurt. She had a bit of a fever last night but that's about it. Otherwise happy playful just normal. I will keep an eye on her of course but it's just weird

My son was like this a few weeks ago, lasted about 2 weeks. A bit of diarrhea at the end . X

Last winter my son threw up once after dinner, he wasn’t poorly and no other symptoms. Within 24hrs me and my husband was being sick. It was horrible but didn’t really seem to affect my son. It probably doesn’t warrant a dr just now ( they don’t like vomiting children going in to the office as if it’s a bug it spreads like wildfire). I assume it’s a recent development so I would keep and eye and you might find it just stops.

Maybe try cutting out some of the dairy, my daughter did this and it went away when we stopped giving her any dairy after 2pm
