We had to be consistent with the purées, my son didn’t know what to do with it at first but the more we have him he got the hang of it
Something that I think encouraged both of my kids to be interested in food is always being present when someone is eating/drinking. Every single time someone eats something, they are there watching to the point where they mocked the chewing motion even though they weren’t eating. Don’t be afraid to start with the sweet stuff. Every kids palette is different. My daughter didn’t like the green purées at all but would eat solid broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower, etc. My son like everything lol some days he wants peas; some days apples are disgusting. And if he’s showing no interest at all don’t force it, it’s just not time yet. Give it a few days and try again. Or try something he can hold himself.
Keep trying! My LO would spit it out every time but we just kept offering (not forcing) everyday and now as soon as she sees me grab her spoon she gets excited!
Just keep being consistent they aren’t gonna like it at first it’s new textures and taste they have to adjust too. I’ve been doing it for two weeks somedays he eats it somedays he wants nothing to do with it 🤷🏻♀️ remember food before one is mostly fun follow little ones lead keep introducing one food every 3-5 days offer different textures not just purées and eventually will find what works and what doesn’t!
