Help - Supermarket Sandwich

I’m feeling extremely paranoid and guilty after reading I cannot have supermarket sandwiches. I craved a chicken salad sandwich and caved in from Asda but thought nothing of it until googling after 😫

If it was in date I am sure it’s fine, unless it’s something off the nhs no go list I don’t worry, it’s very easy to overthink and google everything you eat but honestly you will end up just giving yourself anxiety 🙂

@Megan I can’t see anything about shop bought sandwiches but can see cold meats causes a higher risk of listeria. Just paranoid and guilty now 😔 praying everything will be fine

@Katie the higher risks are uncooked meats like chorizo or salami or cured hams, but things like chicken and turkey always have a slight risk like any food but are considered safe 🙂

@Megan thank you for your help, doesn’t help I haven’t got a confirmed midwife yet to even chat to about things like this as I keep getting ones covering for others x

@Katie ah nightmare! I had that with my first, last 3 midwife appointments my midwife was off sick and it was a mixture of people covering her! Didn’t see her again till after he was born 😅

I had loads (not deli meat) ready made sandwiches when I was pregnant atleast 2-3 a week different fillings you’ll be fine x

@kelly thank you x

I've eaten loads of supermarket sandwiches and babies fine
