When can you watch a movie with your child?

I know they recommend no screen time until they’re 2. When can you realistically sit down and watch a movie together? 3? 4?

I think a whole feature length movie around 3-4 I’d say on average. It would depend on the child, their concentration etc if that’s more nearer 3 or 4 though

Ok thank you

Definitely depends on the child. My eldest was a lockdown toddler so she watched a lot more tv than I’d have liked while we were working and she could watch the whole of frozen aged 2 in one go. But I know some 4 year olds who still can’t sit still for long enough.

We don’t limit screen time in our house. Mainly because she does not stay still for more than 5 min 😂 there is only one thing she is glued to the TV, so we don’t put that on often. I don’t think my LO will sit and watch a whole hour of a film for a while.
