How far in advance have you sorted childcare?

I am going back to work in June 2025 and haven’t ‘secured’ anything yet and I am worried like crazy that I may not find anything.. I live in South London

I just applied for nursery in June today. Good ones book up fast and can have year-long wait lists. It depends on what you want!

The thought of nursery is making me a little anxious. The cost and the having to put my baby’s name down so early when he’s not even here.

We sorted nursery in August 2024 which will start April 2025 but when we looked there was a lot of availability in Northolt and Greenford so really depends on the area
