Very tired 😊😴 but this little one is so worth it even when he's screaming the house down because he's angry that he can't move independently yet
@Holly Wow, congratulations! How are you feeling after your emergency c section!? Ideally I'd love to go into labour on boxing day LOL, that's my birthday also, but of course I can't decide when baby comes 🤣
@Holley 🥰 how was your birth? You must be exhausted however having him here for Xmas must be lovely!

@R 🪬 very fast 😂 contractions started and an hour and a half later he was here! Not as great as it sounds it's a fairly traumatic way for them to be born I was very lucky I didn't have more complications and I'm sad I never got that excited were having a baby moment after such a rough pregnancy but he's amazing 😍 looking forward to tomorrow especially as I will hopefully be able to hand him over to my sister to be made a fuss of all day and have a little nap in the armchair after eating a tonne of food
Got our first health visitor appointment today. Then we’re going shopping to try and get Xmas pudding. It’s the one thing we don’t have in. But babygirl is 9 days old, finally settling into a routine and we’re all recovering well. Hope it’s not too long for you guys, wishing you all the best 🤍

They started induction on my due date two days ago but still no sign of him yet! So we’re still bored in hospital and it’s looking like he’ll be a Christmas Day baby lol 😅🎄 x
I’m due 31 Dec. We did Christmas early and pretended today the 24th was Xmas so our toddler got his presents and we ate yum food and had a special play at the best park in town. I’m 39 weeks today and hope to go into labour early but it’s not looking like it. I’m over it 😭
Had my boy last week but back in hospital and hoping to be home tonight, for my toddlers sake.
@Holley wow a hour and a half. Mine eldest just flew out of me in such a short time I was like wth. I'm glad you didn't have any more complications. Enjoy your Xmas with him and all the food!

@Helen I don't have a clue about inductions and how long it's supposed to be before 'kicking in'! What cm are you currently? He's clearly comfortable in there lol.
@Genevieve I'd love to give birth on 31st Dec lol. With your son was he on time? My last 2 were 2 and 3 weeks overdue so I'd be so shocked if baby came today

@R 🪬 thanks! Yeah he came 18th rather than 28th (his original section date) but he’s got really bad jaundice so he’s on the phototherapy blue light. Fingers crossed I’ll be home this evening to surprise his big sister. She’s only met him for 30 mins and is feeling a bit left out I think. Christmas plans for me are an M&S two done for £15 meal deal and a bottle of mulled wine 🥰 cannot wait for my Xmas pjs and a lay in for everyone xx
I’m due the 29th packing to travel down to Somerset to spend today and tomorrow night with my husbands dad. It’s 2 hours away but he’s never had a Christmas with his dad so it’s going to be lovely and couldn’t miss it x
My baby is a week old today! It’s been a busy few days trying to get the Christmas food shop done, wrap the last couple of things but we’ve spent a lot of time having snuggles. Went to pick up the turkey from the butchers this morning then had a hot chocolate. We’re about to have lots of party food, older kids have made cookies for Santa, I’ve finally managed to nice the Christmas cake and then we’ll settle down with a movie in our new pjs! Ready to embrace the mess and chaos tomorrow 😂
@R 🪬 my first baby was born 39+3 so we assumed this one would go early too but now I think I’ll go overdue idk why!
@shannon oh hopefully she'll be close to your due date to give you the relief of the pain. 9 months pregnant and walking can feel impossible at times!

@Clare congrats on your baby! I see you've had a boy after girls! I've got girls and I feel like I'm having a boy but I didn't find out. I hope you have a lovely Xmas! We made cookies earlier also, I've bought some for myself here's to pigging out 🤣
