I found that nipple cream made my latch bad because the nipple was slippery. I found the best thing that helped me was the breast milk itself, squirt and rub it on your nipples. Hopefully doesn't last too long, it's horrible when it hurts

Silver cups are a godsend! My nipples cracked and bled from a bad latch on the first two feeds. I tried the Lansinoh but found baby absolutely hated it and made latching really difficult. I then found silver cups and OMG did they do the trick. It took only 2 days for them to be practically fully healed. They are amazing.

Do also give your nipples time to be dry and in the air. Silver nipple cups are amazing too. Make sure you see a local breastfeeding group who can help you with your latch and make sure no more damage is done ☺️
