You can still drink coffee. Can always try decaf, I never can taste a difference.
I'm a huge coffee drinker. I switched to decaff except 1 cup a day. I saved mine for the afternoon at work as thats when i needed a pick me up. So if you want one in the morning then go for it. Look up NHS list of foods to avoid. They have all the info on there for pregnancy. You can print it off & stick it to your fridge to remind you if you want to be extra cautious.
I tried to keep my daily caffeine intake under 100mg. But that was just my preference. I think they say you can go up to 120mg a day but I can’t remember exactly.
Im a sucker for my coffee too I always have it strong but since I have been pregnant I have it weak I. 30 weeks pregnant and have been drink 2 cups a.day and bubs is fine your aloud to ha e 2 -3 cups a day as I have spoken to my ob about it
There's an increased risk of miscarriage with excessive caffeine consumption, or so I read on one of those 'beware of everything' websites. As long as you're not chugging energy drinks or doing multiple espresso shots, I think you'll be fine 😉
I was told your supposed to have no more than 200mg of caffeine a day. They say stay away from coffee, deli meats and pineapple. Google is pretty helpful but always double check with a doctor!
I don’t drink sodas or eat sugary food, at least yet. I stick to a strict regimen when it comes to carb protein, and fat intake. But I will be more careful as I start to notice cravings! Thank you!
