I had my son prematurely via c section. I had placenta previa so I was mentally prepared for a c section quite early on and even though it was technically an emergency, it didn’t feel chaotic or scary and I had a really positive experience. My son will be 19 months when I have my second (and final) baby and I’m wond...
Anyone else not packed hospital bag? I’m 33+3 days due a week before Xmas. I recently bought the Joolz aer + with bassinet as I have a car seat that was barely used due to lockdown, said car seat is still in the loft🙈 can’t get it down as partner is away. I have a next to me under our bed, just took out bags of…
Second time c section mamas The second time you had a c-section was your incision cut much bigger than your original one? This is my second and both planned so no emergency and I feel like Iv been butchered it’s at least double the size of my old one!!

Hi everyone, I’m a little embarrassed to post this but as a FTM I’m unsure if this is the start of my waters or from my recent activities with my partner 😳 I have put a pad on to see if anything else leaks out but it was very watery and not white/mucusy or sticky! What do we think?
Hey, can I ask how long people were still in some pain for post c section ? I still struggle now and can't walk too far or lift heavy items and I'm almost 5 weeks post section. Is this normal ? I get on with day to day activities but feel sore by the end of the day. Thanks :)
Hi mamas!! First time mom here giving birth soon. I wanted to know if any of labored early at home and then went to the hospital because ideally, that’s what I would like to do. Did you tell your provider that you wanted to do that? Is this something you recommend to do? Or maybe not since I’m a FTM and we never ...
i was doing laundry and i felt leaking down my leg and this was in the crotch area… i smelled it and it’s not pee smelling. my husband said it would be a big gush but i know sometimes it can trickle down… should i just wait to see if i start contracting? we live an hour away from my hospital
Apparently it isn’t a big ‘gush’
Hi Ladies, This is my second c-section How long did you been bleed for? I’m 6days post section and iv literally had a spot of blood on my pad all day, I know this is a lot less than what I had last time but wondering if they have changed their procedure of what they do during the section (maybe cleaning you out m...
My doctor says she doesn’t schedule c-sections before 39 weeks of pregnancy but isn’t that cutting it kind of close? I know with my last one, they didn’t want to risk me going into labor on my own so we scheduled it 3 weeks before I was due. What’s being told to you?
How long after a c section does bleeding stop
What does everyone recommend to help in any way to induce labour? Won’t be trying anything anytime soon as I still have 7 weeks left but if there’s anything I need to buy I’d like to be more prepared this time. Thank you :)
Hi there, first pregnancy, second round IVF. I am 34 weeks tomorrow and am still unsure whether I should have elected c section or attempt vaginal birth. I have GD, and due to my age and the fact this is an IVF pregnancy, they class me as high risk, so I will be induced at 39 weeks if baby hasn’t decided to make an ...
I've been passing parts of my mucus plug for a couple days now (lost a part of it over a week ago as well) but today I passed a bigger piece with a tinge of blood in it. I've been mildly crampy in my back but haven't felt any contractions other than the occasional Braxton Hicks, which haven't been painful up to this...
Can anyone tell me if it’s normal, I’m nearly 10 weeks post c section and I’m constantly getting hot flushes and sweating really bad , even now with the cold weather coming I find it hard to stick when the heat is on in the house and I get really hot and flustered. Anyone?
Hello Mamas, we just did our amniocentesis and it’s positive for downs. I’m in total overwhelm. We already have three young children, I do virtually all the parenting on my own and just started a Masters program. I’m 15.5 weeks. Just wanted to come on here and say I’m totally lost. Side note this pregnancy was unexp...
*Long Post* It wasn’t until I became pregnant and chose an elective C-section, that I realized there is a huge stigma from other mothers when you choose to voluntarily have a C-section. I remember posting asking for tips on recovery etc and I would get comments saying “why would you choose that?” Or “but our bodies...
So I’m still only 26weeks pregnant and I am hoping to have a natural birth, however on the possibility that I may end up needing a c-section, what is the recovery like when being overweight and with an apron belly? I’d be concerned about it not healing properly because it would never really get much air to it, it’s ...
Hello everyone, has anyone have good experience with Balloon induction? Thank you. ❤️
