My daughter is a 1 year and 10 months and showing interest in the potty and she has been on it 3x times today should I slowly start introducing pull up pants in a few weeks or start now

My LO is 9mo/8kg and I struggle to find pull up nappy pants that work for him. Pampers size 3 is a good fit no pee leak but they smell so bad; we have tried also eco by naty & kit and kin & bamboo & Aldi ones size 4 - all give us pee leaks through the front!
