Fussy feeds/teething??

Hi guys - wondering if anyone else having the same issue. My 5m old is teething (we think). Last few weeks has been very fussy, drooly and chompy and gums now look red and bumpy. Pica or Curisoity?

My son has always been putting things in his mouth. He chews on the window sil, door handles, dirt outside,clothes, gym equipment, hair ties, cardboard boxes,....feels like anything he can get his hands on. Two people suggested I get him evaluated for Pica...but I'm holing this is just a phase?....but I should.......
