Has anyone used the baby changing in Fosse Park Food Hall? Is it just a baby changing wall mat that’s in the women’s toilets or is it an actual separate room? If it’s a separate room does it have a feeding chair in it too? Going at the weekend and want to know in advance.
Hey 👋🏻 I’m currently 29 weeks, and looking for some nursery recommendations. He will be going for 2 long days (8-6) from October time. Looking for a nursery that also accepts the government funding please 😀
Is anybody able to explain to me how this works? Me and my partner both work so I assume we are eligible, my son is 18 months. My understanding from 15hr free childcare is that I can send my son for 15 hours for free? Is this not the case? I’ve called up a few nurseries and omg two of them have said you can use the ...
Any particular reason why?
Just reconfirmed tax free childcare. Will I get a new code for the 30hours or do they just update the 15 hours one. He won’t get the hours until January but last time we got the new code straight away?
I don't think it's fair/right to have to pay a weeks worth of nursery fees when my little girl was off poorly with HF&M because they said she couldn't go to nursery! She only goes Thursday and Friday 8.30-4pm - and it costs £26 a week- we get the 15hrs free childcare during term time She was off last week with HF&...
Did anyone else think the free childcare funds meant you didn’t have to pay a thing?😂 we took it as she gets to go nursery and the gov paid for it all not us paying in and them paying in a tiny bit. Thickos.

Hi everyone! My son will be starting daycare full time within the next few weeks, and i’m very nervous and stressed. He is about to be 16 months and has never been alone with strangers before. As a single mom, it’s always been me and him, and he has only been alone with my sister or my parents. He’s very shy and goe...
What's the difference between tax free childcare care and free childcare in UK. First time mom here (don't have a clue). Which one offers the vest savings?
She’s the happiest most outgoing kid and I know she loves school so I don’t think it’s that but it’s like everyday she just decompresses when she gets home for a small period before going back to her normal self laughing and playing. Is this normal??
What are your toddlers schedule ? Like full schedule ? We are finally moving into our own house with lots of land and I want to put my son on a schedule but have no idea where to start we’ve been living in a basement for 4 months getting funds up so it’s been all over the place.
Does anyone have their little ones in nursery full time Monday-Fri? My partner has got a new job and I feel like my options are very limited, either quit my own career or put my daughter in nursery 9-4 every weekday. At the moment she does 2 days and my partner would be with her on his days off Thurs/Fri and I sto...
Hi, I know this is a long shot but does anyone have a profession listed on the gov website for passports identity verification? I am trying to get my son’s passport and just need the identity confirmation, everyone I know wasn’t eligible due to their profession and was wondering if any of you could help me out. I kn...

Some context: I’m 17 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. Youngest is 1 and eldest is 9. I’ve been suffering with terrible sickness and been signed of work due to this. The dad of a friend of my 9 year old asked if I could look after his daughter on the Saturday. He knows I’ve not been well and sick. Would you ask someo...
What questions do you ask when visiting nurseries please? Absolutely clueless ☹️
Hey, as our babies are starting school next September, are you bringing them along to school tours? I’m not sure to keep him in nursery on the days I have the tours or to bring him with me! Not sure if he’ll be a distraction or if it’ll be good to gauge his reaction to the schools.
Hey mums, I was just looking for some advice if anyone has been through similar or just knows more of this matter. So we moved to Spain when my daughter was nearly 3, we had this in plan for a while so I didn’t send her to nursery in uk, as school here starts at 3 years old till 6 so she would have plenty of time t...
