Is anybody’s toddler eating a lot. My son literally ate porrdge with berries and yoghurt for breakfast at 8:30am and since then hes eaten pasta and a small petit pain with butter, then cheese, then an apple, and now eating his lunch which is an omlette with tomatoes, olives, onions and cheese, an orange and half a b...
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to track the different solids given to LO so far? Or any calendar like template that shows which fruit or vegetable to give on each day?
My little one is almost 17 months old and just wondered what people are giving as crisps / snacks around this age? He still has the Ella’s kitchen melty puff crisp things but im wondering if these are a bit babyish for him now, can he have something else?
Exactly as the title suggests, I’m struggling to think of savoury options for snack time? I usually do fruit or some melty crisp things but I need some more interesting ideas! Happy to bake things too! 😀
I’m trying purées but my LO isn’t really understanding it. She opens her mouth then refuses to. Spits it all out but hasn’t understood you need to swallow the food. Any tips.
Anyone else’s little one not a hug fan off fruit? He is 11 months today I’ve tried berries ( all different) melons( all) banana ( he will tolerate but not always ) He doesn’t mind fruit pots but won’t have it in any other form. Not in yogurt and not in muffins or pancakes. I’m at a lose tbh
Is anyone else’s 20 month old just absolutely ravenous at the moment? He stops eating and is straight away at the cupboard shouting and signing “more please” He eats SO much at the moment and I just wanted to check its not just us!
What sort of food do you give to your child?
My son has been driving me insane with eating and I want to pull out my hair. My daughter blessed us with being such an easy eater and loves everything. My son is super picky and I feel has become worse with in the last two weeks! He only will eat raspberries, yogurt, croissants, quiche(but not the quiche I make), h...
Soooo what are we doing about our picky toddlers? I feel like I’m losing my mind some days because I can’t get my son to eat barely anything! I’m starting to worry about him
My baby (7.5 months) is premature and the doctor told us we can introduce foods earlier. So he started purees at 5.5 months old. He doesn't have teeth yet and he struggles with chunky stuff so everything is blended for him. He will do finger food as long as it dissolves in his mouth. He used to be up for trying anyt...
In need of new ideas, my son doesn’t eat egg, sausage patties and we don’t eat bread or cereals. Currently he eats pancakes, cornmeal porridge and croissant sandwiches. Just yoghurt isn’t enough for him either and he doesn’t eat whole fruits. He eats rice pudding but not usually for breakfast because of the prep ti...
Hii, Wondering how much babies are actully eating now? My little girl is just not a foodie. She enjoys certain things but is not excited by food. I’m still EBF but trying to cut down on the milk so she’s more hungry but she’s just not. She’s a very happy and very active little one and full of smiles all day eveyd...
My family has been helping with my son for the last year, my mum has him 3 days a week and my dad and sister are around. I want to make some banana pancakes for my 6 month old, want to try to avoid chemicals and un natural foods, what's the best flour to use? Thanks!
He would be home with dad. He generally eats every 2-3 hours but I’m scared he decides to eat more often that day 🫣
Not planning on weaning earlier than 6 months but wondering if I could give lo something he can’t swallow but just taste /lick ? Like carrot ? Or would that be weaning. Could I perhaps use the pacifier thingy where you can put something in?
Just not interested. Snacks here and there won’t even really want meals anymore. (21 months)
Would anyone mind showing me photos of what they offer there around 1 year olds and how much they actually eat of it for breakfast/lunch/ dinner please. Keep seeing all these videos what my baby eats in a day but no one shows how much they actually eat! Also how much are your 1 year olds drinking a day of milk/water?
