I am currently still breastfeeding my first once a day but planning on stopping this weekend. I am also trying to conceive. Just wondering if the breastfeeding is likely to prevent pregnancy?
Though, since he’s used to feeding frequently, he doesn’t drink as much. How do I get him to actually just go longer without milk so when he does nurse or take a bottle, he drinks more in one sitting?
Will it be okay to have a glass of wine while breastfeeding or should I pump & dump? It’s my first alcoholic drink postpartum so I’m sure I’ll be a little buzzed 😂
My baby is almost 11 months old and now that’s she’s eating more solids she seems to want her bottle less if not at all anymore. Is this normal? Is it time to wean off the bottle or does she continue with the milk for longer? Thank you in advance!
Anyone else baby pinch them with their hands while breastfeeding 😭 my baby is 5 months and recently started doing that and if I stop her she’ll stop eating and it hurts lol
Hi mamas i just got my period for the first time at 12 months postpartum last month. this month i haven’t gotten it and it’s 7 days late. Was your period super irregular when it came back? or did it snap back to normal? or could i be pregnant? (pull out method when we are intimate) i will test anyways when i can but...
I'm due in July, and my son will be 18 months by then. I don't mind breastfeeding and want to continue to. I just want some insight from experienced mamas who have tandem fed. How was your experience with it? Was it just super time consuming? Any and all suggestions/advice please comment. 🙏
Did anyone else’s baby (1 this week) go funny after going onto cows milk? She has a cold anyway so bunged up but seems to be vommiting curlded milk & diarreah I did ask the doctor whether she could be allergic to it however they said she was on formula which had all same things in it.
What wearable pump do you all recommend. I am going to start working and I would need to buy a pump that I can use during the day. I currently have one but its not the best. I need one that will fully empty me, and that doesn't make a lot of noise. ALSO, if you're a pumping momma at work what are your essentials. ...
Every time I hear that I remember that 100 years ago you could get glass breast implants. Not very smart. What really dumb hospital fact can you think of when people reference the past like it was somehow a ton better for everyone's health.
I’m feeling like a failure, I started to breastfeed my newborn. Despite feeling pain I was kept trying, got some help from nurse as well. But baby is very stubborn and doesn’t want to suck properly. One breast is literally rejected, another one sometimes he’s ok with sucking it, sometimes it’s a big NO, NO. I realis...
… but do it anyway? I decided before my daughter was born that I would combi-feed. Formula worked so well for us first time round that I wanted to do it again and I would try BF again. Compared to last time, BF has been so much easier. I have a good supply; she latches well (enough - it’s shallow but it’s there). ...
I have just started this week giving 1 formula bottle a day as I will be going back to work in April. Prior to this I have exclusively breastfed I still haven't had my first period, wondering what others experiences are??? Also, I have PCOS so irregular periods previously. Even better if can let me know when your ...
Yall. How are we weaning? My second is not on board and I am so ready to stop BF. But she refuses whole milk (will scream like a banshee and throw it) and cries all night unless I give the boob. Advice? 😫😴 ty!!
Hello just wondered if there are any other mums that have had problems breastfeeding and are now exclusively pumping? Breastfeeding has always been massively important to me but my baby has problems latching and feeding at the breast, he either holds my nipple in his mouth and falls asleep immediately or gets supe...
I’ve been EBF for 14 months now and suddenly my nipples have become really sore. Nothing has changed eg how often my LO nurses or anything like that and there doesn’t seem to be any difference with latch. Anybody have any idea what it could be?
Hi all, I had my second baby 10 days ago and have the most sensitive/painful nipples. I am working so hard on my latch and didn’t really have any pain until recently with the cluster feeding. I breastfed my son for 14 months and would have thought it was easier this time around!! Anyone else in the same boat?x
I was so nervous about breastfeeding after hearing and reading so many stories about how hard it was. As much as I wanted to breastfeed I mentally prepared myself to formula feed. No one should feel guilty for how they nourish their baby. In tandem I did my research, took some courses (highly recommend virtual cour...
First time mum - my little boy still loves a bottle of milk before bed and I’m unsure when to stop giving it to him. Any tips how I can wean him off?
Does anyone else feel like their baby doesn’t settle at all unless just on the nipple ALL day? If they’re not sleeping they’re on the boob even after a feed 🥲😭 He’s 3 1/2 weeks old and I’m losing my mind because he hates the dummy and will just scream bloody murder unless I put him on the boob During the day he…
