Did they give you a steroid cream? They can make it worse because the skin becomes addicted to it so it spreads x

Yes , I was prescribed this at first and that’s what happened :( , seemed to clear up while using and then became worse once I stopped using it x

Typical, I hate that they give this stuff to babies!!! Look up atopic steroid withdrawals ok tiktok you’ll see how bad it can get:( Lots of newborns get dry rashy skin just from being new in the world and putting harsh creams on them prolongs the issue

I’ve tried that nalas baby on my little Girl and her skin is much better. Worth a shot? X

I don’t use the moisturiser, but use there wash. And I can’t fault it xx

Thankyou :) , I was thinking to buy the child’s farm baby wash actually , do you use it ? Xx

We used Honest eczema balm. Her skin cleared up within days and hasn’t returned. We also switched to more gentle baby wash.

Of course! I was using baby dove and switched her to baby Aveeno. I also use Esembly everyday balm it has coconut oil. It works great for diaper and eczema too.

Thankyou for the advise :) ! Which baby wash have you switched to X

My baby ezcema is mild but these are just somethings that I've been recommended. I use Cortic - DS 1% cream. I also changed my bubs body wash and lotion to cetaphil. Qv was recommended too I've tried both and both are amazing but cetaphil has a nicer scent. Was told not to leave bub in bath no more than 15mins and pat dry. Use ezcema friendly washing detergent for bubs clothes and linen.

Are you using the Cortic-DS cream regularly ? My little one seemed to not get on well with hydrocortisone:( . Yes , I’ve heard that Cetaphil is good for baby eczema! Thankyou for the advise :) xx !

Do you pump? A breast milk bath is supposed to be the cure!

Add breast milk into your LO’s bath if you pump!

Our little one got eczema at the same age as your little one. Nothing worked at all until we used hydromol ointment. It’s quite messy but really works, it’s the only thing that did & the Gp can prescribe a huge tub that last ages xx

Thankyou for the advise , I have not heard of this one , so will look into it :) xx

So my daughter was the same at 3 months. And they prescribed a steroid cream and then once the treatment was finished it would disappear but come back worse than before. More patches, so they prescribe stronger ones! Don’t get into that cycle. I think use it to clear and phase it out the following week, use every two days then once a week. You should follow this lady on insta - she has an online shop my SIL swears by her stuff. My daughter now 2 has now grown out of her eczema. https://instagram.com/mygoodnessrecipes?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

She also says breast milk is the best cure dabbing it on with a cotton pad. And leave to dry.

Yes , this is was happened to my son , it seemed to come back worse after finishing the cycle of the steroid cream :( . Thankyou for the advise and link ! Will look for sure :) x

We use Aveeno baby dermexa cream on my little girl and it is an absolute lifesaver :) x

My girl has eczema, we use oilatum in her bath and it’s kept it at bay so well! I also use child’s farm moisturiser products

Centrban cream. I keep using it even after it’s cleared up x

My baby is almost 8 months and we battle eczema .)He had to get a prescription but as soon as i stopped came back with a vengeance. I’m really looking into natural stuff because I’m big on natural. I need to find something that works for him outside of this medication. I have a friend who makes stuff and has been studying skincare for years , she made her baby a eczema product and now she has infant products in her line . Now your baby is small so i don’t know if it’ll be ok for her, honestly my baby didn’t get it til he got around 5 months and his dr then prescribed something . But it also messes with the pigment in their skin so i use cocoa butter on him too. Eczema can be really bothersome too , makes them itchy

My almost 5year old had really bad eczema as a baby and we had a cocktail of creams and steroids a constant cycle. I had so many people offering different remedies of their own and it just got frustrating, the more I tried the worse it got. I went to a light moisturiser Qv cream and I use to lotion my daughter everytime i used her nappy, stopped putting a babygrow on to aid the process, i started washing her clothes in water only, i stopped wearing perfume, steroid creams i reduced the use even during major flare ups. Eventually it improved. She is almost five and we get flare ups, some nights she wakes once because shes itchy, but just moisturising often and drinking lots of water has made a difference for us.

Anita so true that’s why i told her she gone have to get with the pedi or basically keep seeing what helps cause the same ppl offering things that we’ve All may have tried and honestly no offense but lots of those remedies or things don’t work on pigmented skin 🤷🏾‍♀️

My little girl was diagnosed at 3 months too... it got so bad we were referred to a pediatric dermatologist... 15 months later we have heard nothing back... We have spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds on creams and nothing is any good. It will ease it for a few days, but that's it... Eczema will never just be cured by one lotion or cream... its an ongoing cycle of different potions which they hopefully grow put of which I'm hoping is the same for my little girl... its heartbreaking 💔

Aveeno helps with my LO

Baby Aveeno has helped my baby. We use the oatmeal bath, nighttime balm, and daytime lotion

That aveeno crap don’t work for black babies sorry but i know lots of mom who also said it made the situation worse and it does.

Mustela has a special range for it it’s mustela Stelatopia
