Baby weight

I’m feeling a bit insecure about myself and maybe ashamed that I haven’t lost my baby weight. With my first daughter I had a c-section and I was back within my weight by 8 weeks. This time around I had a vaginal birth and my weight has not came off as easily and there’s nothing I’m doing different except I’m breast feeding this time around vs my first daughter I didn’t.

I feel exactly the same! I've had my third child in October and I just can't seem to lose the weight. Also breastfeeding her as I didn't with my other two. So it's a new journey, I think that's what happens with breastfeeding as you burn calories as you feed and then, not sure if you get it, but I get really hungry so I'll eat , but I am going to try to watch what I eat and have abit more of a routine with it , maybe that'll help. But remember be kind to your body, it has done an amazing thing, growing a baby 🤗

You’re not alone! I lost only half of what I gained during pregnancy, and I’m breast feeding as well. I figure I just need to watch what I eat moving forward and get back into a fitness routine. The only thing that keeps me positive thinking is that nobody is expecting me to lose the weight immediately and I’m giving myself grace. It took 40 weeks for my body to prepare to give birth, I need to give myself equal time for my body to get back to how it was almost a year ago 😊
