Has anyone had long periods?

Hi, last year I had long period that lasted over a week. I only had a Dr check me, but didn't do the ultrasound because my insurance didn't cover it. The birth control has made my periods normal. Now sometimes I have ovary pain or cramps while not on my period, 2 months ago my period got very light all of a sudden Thanks
