Thank you so much Rachel!
Welcome!
@Rachael this is such good advice. I started my journey in November 2023 and we are still in it. It really takes over your life and you have to do everything you can to reserve your mental health ♥️ wishing you all Gods favour and I pray we all come out of this with our beautiful healthy babies in Jesus name 🙏🏾
@Tiwalolu aww thanks. Best of luck to you!
Hi! A few pieces of advice: 1) Try not to compare your protocol/journey with anyone else’s. Everyone’s instructions are unique to their clinic and specific needs. Trust your doctor (but of course, advocate for yourself!). 2) If you can, do everything in your power to practice patience. IVF can be a very slow process. It can take weeks (even months) between steps. Don’t be hard on yourself. Keep yourself busy with healthy distractions and fulfilling hobbies. Live your life as close to normal as possible. 3) Stay healthy but give yourself grace. Eating a balanced diet, drinking lots of water, staying active, and getting your sleep all go a long way but no one thing will make or break your success so balance is key but don’t make yourself crazy over it. IVF isn’t a club people want to join but this community is full of supportive people who understand your struggles more than the people closest to you. Don’t be afraid to ask questions (even if they feel silly) and reach out! 🤍
