Question!

Just found out I’m 4w3d pregnant and got bloodwork hcg yesterday. It came back as 454. Is that abnormally high? I am panicking because of course Google told me that it may mean multiples and/or defects to the baby if hcg is too high. Did anyone else have high hcg and everything is perfectly fine? SOS I’m freaking out 😰

You could be more further along or you could of ovulated earlier then you thought

Probably further along then expected mine was around 29-200 around 4 weeks pregnant

Could be further or twins?

I know I’m not further because I’m on clomid so my cycles are timed, so I know I ovulated and conceived on the day that I did

You could just have higher hormones then

Or twins like Melissa said

gahhhh I’m anxious lol

I know what you mean! I have an appt with my doctor next week. So I held off on the bloodwork until Friday, closer to my appt. I'm excited and anxious to see my levels! I'm 4wks 5 days today

@Melissa hi! what were your Hcg levels at 4 weeks 5 days?

I started at 1061

Had an ultrasound at 7w1d. Measuring where needed, 153BPM

@Melissa congratulations. My hcg at 4 weeks was 386 and then at 4 weeks 4 days 786 so not doubling every 48 hours which is concerning.. did you have similar levels?

@Pamela Mine doubled every 3 days. We can't go by the doubling every 48Hrs rule. New studies have shown thats not the case with healthy babies. I was worried too. But then I confirmed with my doctor I didn't need to do bloodwork anymore. Numbers were good (he's 100% by the book) and waited for my ultrasound.
