With the copper it shouldn't affect cycles, when I had mine out they said I could get pregnant straight away, so I'd see the GP. If it was hormonal it can take a few months for your cycle to regulate. I wouldn't worry about age either, I'm 35 and pregnant and it happened quickly.
Thanks for your replies. It was the hormonal coil. Will start ovulation testing to get a better idea.
I would think the bleeding is probably due to the irritation of removal/things settling down. Especially if it was the hormonal coil and not the copper. The best way to know more about ovulation is to take LH tests, best to do them daily if you aren’t having regular periods as this should give you a good indication of whether or not you are ovulating. In regards to age I wouldn’t worry yet. My mum had me at 36. She was 32 and 34 when she had my brothers and all pregnancies were no additional support or struggles
