Disappointed

Trying for #2. Just completed first IUI cycle & bloodtest yesterday came out negative. Looking for advice & any tips for success… Seems like I’m seeing pregnancy announcements every other day right now & it’s really getting to me

SAME! We just started trying this current cycle and I'm 2 days from my expected period. Got a BFN yesterday (I took a 6 day sooner test). Super bummed but oh well we'll have to try again next month.😒

I’m in the same place trying for a second and also trying to get my period and ph level back to normal. I’m taking “Eu Natural conception for her”, so far it’s regulating my period and I feel the difference. Hoping to get pregnant in the next few months. P.S. it’s a natural and I haven’t seen any bad reviews on it.

With our July baby we didn't have a positive our first cycle, wasn't till the second cycle that we had success. Pregnant with the second after a chemical miscarriage so this one also took a few tries. There's definitely lots of things you can do and try. Eating healthy, not drinking. Don't take nsaids around ovulation (recent study on that one). Stay laying down for like 15 minutes after the IUI procedure if they don't already have you do that. For your partner (yes, there are things they can do too! It's not all on you) there are things they can do to support a healthy sperm count. No sitting in hot tubs. No sitting on seat warmers. Limit alcohol intake. There are also foods and vitamins that support testosterone. Our first IUI we had a really low sperm count btw when they did the procedure. The nurse was really kind and talked to my husband about getting better results collecting the sample. It's a stressful environment and that can impact things! Second time around was much better!

If you are also trying the old fashioned way along with IUI, there are lubricants out there that are supposed to help with ph. We used baby dance fertility lubricant. I figure it doesn't hurt to try.
